Although the liberals won more seats in the legislature, it’s still not enough to get a super majority, and that means Park, Geun-Hye is going to be South Korea’s first female presidentUPDATE: April 12, 2012. Many are predicting North Korea will conduct more provocations, and now with a conservative government, this seems kind of like a no-brainer.
On a sidenote, has anyone noticed that people have gone from “shooting down the missile” (the Kwangmyongsong-3) to “shooting down missile debris”? What does that say for America’s Missile Defense System? Then of course, what about that other missile?

Nevermind, spoke too soon. Conservatives pretty much maintain their control over the legislature:

Also, in reference to the side note, it was a bit late, but I’ve figured it out. By “debris”, they mean the pieces of the rocket that are ejected once all fuel for that stage has been spent (and not just little tiny chippings). So in essence… This is what it’ll look like:
